Hello! :)

My name is Ashley and Millennial Mother has been my lil project since 2014. It started out as a collective parenting blog, featuring a diverse group of mothers taking about life and parenthood. I took a hiatus and MM returned as a personal project, only to be abandoned again for several years. 

In 2018 another resurrection happened, with more focus on Instagram content vs. blogging. Because let's face it, no one reads fucking blogs anymore. But I still do a little bloggy every now and then for fun. And I don't care if anyone reads it. 👻

After wanting to create a podcast for about a year I finally launched the Millennial Mother podcast in 2019. I talk with friends, family, experts, and others I think have cool shit to say on topics like society and culture, mental health, and current events. I am super eclectic and love to tell and share stories on a wide range of topics - not just parenting as the name might suggest. 

Life is hard and this is my little place in cyber space to create, share, connect, and vent. 

When I am not doing MM stuff I am busy being a teacher and parenting 7-year-old twins. I have 2 cats, Bindi and Sashimi. I love thrifting, listening to and collecting records, creating collage/abstract art, and sending snail mail. I collect coffee mugs, vintage cameras, and plants. I'm picking Toadette in Mario Kart and Boo in Mario Party. I really want to ride in a hot air balloon.
